Sales Rep Eastern Ontario

Upper 49th; Canada's Leading Provider of Performance Nutrition and Natural Health Products is seeking Sales Representation for the fast-paced Eastern Ontario region (Toronto east to Belleville and north to Barrie). The Eastern region is an exciting “key growth region”, which houses opportunity for the candidate to interact with a number of major retailers and account growth opportunities. 
As a member of Upper 49th's sales team you would represent some of North America's top multi-million dollar Health & Nutrition brands in the Canadian retail channel.
Working out of our Oakville office and reporting to the National Sales Manager of the Specialty Division the appointee will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing existing account base
  • Expanding customer base and developing new accounts
  • Retailer and consumer education seminars/demonstrations
  • Assisting retailers with product promotion
  • Increasing brand presence and penetration
  • Program promotion and execution
  • Territory management of all customers and events
  • Participating in trade and consumer shows
  • Assisting with credit management & Accounts Receivable
  • Provide competitive analysis reports
  • Prepare daily reports in Maximizer
  • Working closely with the Inside Sales Team

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Proven sales experience – minimum 4 years
  • Broad knowledge of Heath & Nutrition products
  • Post secondary education related to sales, marketing and/or nutrition or related experience
  • Excellent communication & customer service skills
  • Ability to function and perform accurately under pressure and in a detail-oriented environment
  • PC Workflow literate (Outlook, Word, Maximizer, Syspro)
  • A personal interest in health and nutrition

Bilingual Inside Sales Rep

Upper 49th, Canada's Leading Provider of Performance Nutrition and Natural Health Products is seeking a Bilingual Inside Sales Representation. The position looks after an exciting "key growth region", which houses opportunity for the candidate to interact with a number of major retailers and account growth opportunities. 
As a member of Upper 49th's sales team you would represent some of North America's top multi-million dollar Health & Nutrition brands in the Canadian retail channel.
Working out of our Oakville office and reporting to the National Sales Manager of the Specialty Division the appointee will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing all order taking from Upper 49th's customers: up-selling and introducing new products and programs
  • Working closely with Shipping Department
  • Internal contact for all Francophone customers
  • Develop & maintain existing account base over the phone
  • Assisting retailers with product promotion
  • Increasing brand presence and penetration
  • Program promotion and execution
  • Participating in trade and consumer shows
  • Assisting with credit management & Accounts Receivable
  • Provide competitive analysis reports
  • Prepare weekly reports in Maximizer
  • Working closely with the Outside Sales Team

In order to be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Fluent in French (oral and written correspondence is required)
  • Proven customer service experience – minimum 2 years
  • Broad knowledge of Heath & Nutrition products
